Poem: September Crocuses

Yesterday afternoon...on a walk along Victoria Drive in Vancouver...I saw something
I've seen before on the West Coast...in October...but never as early as before
mid-September...and took the picture used here today...and wrote this poem:
"My camera and I smile...
on a lyrical September afternoon...
as I take pictures of crocuses...
blooming again before year's end...
Some people say...
the crocus gets fooled
by the weather
on the West Coast...
I don't think so......
it's just that
it's open to blooming...
any time...
regardless of the season...
and of what...
those who accept limitations
easily...
have to say................"
....................Quester.
